The Grampound Road Village Hall (GRVH), also known as the Sir Robert Harvey Memorial Hall, believes that it is always unacceptable for a child or young person to experience abuse of any kind and recognises its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all children and young people, by a commitment to practice which protects them.
GRVH is committed to ensuring that children who use our community services are not abused and that working practices minimise the risk of such abuse. The committee and all user groups of GRVH have a duty to identify abuse and report it to the Multi Agency Referral Unit (MARU) 03001231116. Support can be sought from the Safeguarding Lead, TOR BUCHAN ( 07810632324 ) or the Deputy SOPHY HOWARD (07470340202) and any safeguarding concerns should be reported to them also.
