  • Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Includes Bank Holidays
  • Emergency Contact Provision: The Hall will no longer have a landline available for emergency calls. Hirers will be expected to bring their own mobile phone for any rare emergency situations.

🚫 Restrictions

The hall cannot be booked for:

  • Religious events
  • Political events

It can be used for:

  • Clubs and societies
  • Parties, receptions, wakes
  • Meetings, training events
  • Fitness classes
  • Small or large gatherings

👥 Capacity

  • Seated, theatre style, just chairs, 100 people
  • Seated around tables, Bistro style 70 people
  • Seated in long rows of adjoined trestles, for bingo or similar 96
  • Large hall is 16m x 9m
  • Meeting Room 9 x 6m

🍽️ Kitchen Facilities

All bookings include access to a fully equipped kitchen:

  • Kettle, urn, microwave, fridge, toaster
  • Oven and hob, dishwasher
  • Good supply of cutlery, crockery, and some everyday glassware
  • Pans and basic hand utensils

🚻 Toilets and Accessibility

  • 2 toilets: Male and Female
  • Ladies toilet doubles as accessible toilet and includes a baby changing table
  • Ramp available for easier access (stored in the inner hall)

🚗 Parking

  • Approx. 10 car spaces on-site
  • Additional parking available beside the school or on local roads

🔑 Access

  • Entry via key safe
  • Code provided prior to booking (changes regularly)

🪑 Furniture and Equipment

  • 10 Trestle tables
  • 10 Small Trestles
  • 10 Small square tables

🧼 Cleaning and Linen

  • Hirers must clean up after use
  • Remove all rubbish, recycling, and food waste
  • Please bring your own linens: towels, tea towels, and tablecloths

🌡️ Heating

There is Central Heating in each Hall regulated from a thermostat. Please do not alter. Supplementary heating is available from the Ceiling heaters but please use only if absolutely necessary and switch off after use.

  • Discretionary rates may apply for regular users or charity groups
  • Winter Electricity Charge: For all new bookings between October and April, there will be an additional £10 flat utility charge added to the Hall hire to cover increased electricity use.
